FORT ATKINSON, Wis. (March 29, 2016) – Jones Dairy Farm, a sixth generation family-owned and operated business based in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, is pulling out all the stops to help celebrate the grand opening of the Jones Market with two days of food, fun, demos, giveaways, live music and more, taking place on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16, 2016, said Mariah Hadler, Jones Market Sales & Marketing Manager.
Located on the Jones Dairy Farm property in the same location as the former Jones Retail Store, the new Jones Market pays homage to the Jones family that settled in Fort Atkinson in the 1830’s, the 127-year-old family owned company best known for all natural pork sausage, and the vast array of quality food products made in the state of Wisconsin. The Jones Market has tripled in size and expanded its offerings to include many exclusive items like fresh brats, Italian sausage and sausage meatballs. Of course, the Jones Market also offers the entire Jones product line including favorites like breakfast sausage, dry-aged bacon and naturally smoked hams, as well as large selection of specialty food items from around the Badger state.
Grand opening events take place both Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. A full schedule of activities have been planned including: grilling demos with Jones Master Meat Crafter Chef Shaun Edwards; morning coffee with 6th Generation President Philip Jones that includes pictures and a cookbook signing; ham carving demonstrations; pictures with mascot Pork Chop Jones; Jones Brats and Wieners off the grill; Cedar Crest Ice Cream cones and sundaes; and live music from local musicians. Product sampling and demo stations will be set-up throughout the day and product giveaways will take place every 15 minutes. Plus, there will be a drawing for a free year’s worth of Jones Sausage.
“The Jones Market has become a destination of its own because of the extensive product offerings, the unique historical items on display that have passed down through the years by the Jones family, and the delicious sampling that takes place every day, all day long,” said Hadler. “We’ve also begun selling freshly brewed Ancora Coffee, Cedar Crest Ice Cream and homemade soups. We also plan to offer delicious handmade sandwiches and breakfast items very soon. The Jones Market is a real treat for the entire family.”
Starting April 15, 2016, the Jones Market will begin extended store hours from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The new Jones Dairy Bar ice cream window, located on the bike path, will be open from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sundays.
The Jones Market is located at 601 Jones Avenue in Fort Atkinson, just down the street from The Fireside Dinner Theatre. Visit www.jonesdairyfarm.com or call 920-563-2963 for more information about the Jones Market or for the complete grand opening celebration event schedule.
