This tribute to The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, features the incomparable Da’Quela “Cookie” Payne. Her melodic voice will take you on an emotional journey, as she puts her heart and soul into each note she sings. Crowned the most gifted Christian singer in America back in 2007 for a reality singing competition called “Gifted.” This victory earned her a major recording contract with EMI Gospel, pushing her to audition for American Idol in 2011 where she went on to advance all the way to Hollywood and the top 100. “Cookie” pays homage to the late great Aretha Franklin with such classics as “Think,” “Chain of Fools,” “Never Loved a Man,” “Dr. Feelgood,” and many more. Eric “Diamond” Ebert has been performing as a Neil Diamond Tribute Artist for the last 19 years, but has been Wisconsin’s Favorite Neil Diamond Tribute Artist since 2009.  He has been told on countless occasions that he “sounds more like Neil than Neil Diamond does.”  Primarily focusing his solo shows between the southeast and northwestern regions of Wisconsin, for the last ten years Eric has toured the casinos, theaters and festivals of the Midwest as a headliner with the Ultimate Legends Show.

Over the last several years, Eric has been showcased on WITI Fox 6’s Wake Up and Real Milwaukee shows, as well as CBS 58 Sunday Morning’s “Diamond in the Rough” feature story.  He has recently done shows at Kansas Crossing Casino in Pittsburg, KS, a tour of American Legion Posts of Central Kentucky, and has performed for sold out crowds at historic Wisconsin Theaters such as Manitowoc’s Civic Center, Racine’s Memorial Hall, and Sentry Theater in Stevens Point.  He has also been a favorite for many years at Summerfest’s JoJo’s Martini Lounge Stage and The Wisconsin State Fair.
