Write On the River
From May 11-13 you're invited to Write On the River!
This event is in honor of famed Fort Atkinson poet Lorine Niedecker! May 12 would have been her 120th birthday!
Bring your lawn chair or blanket, and come down to the Rock River to write poetry, letters, or that memoir or novel you've always wanted to write. This is a self-directed event, encouraging everyone to find the writer within while enjoying some fresh air, sunshine, and our beautiful river.Stick around for other fun events on May 13, including poetry readings from Wisconsin Poet Laureate, Nicholas Gulig, and Lorine Niedecker Fellowship Award Winner, Lauren Carlson.
