    About Us

Youth Wrestling Club. The goal of the FAWC is to provide an opportunity for young people to learn the sport of wrestling through practice and competition.

The club welcomes participants from Pre-K to 8th grade, and meets weeknights from 6-7pm. Annual registration is the first week of each November, but parents can sign kids up any time by just coming to a practice. There are two practices each week and socials that include bowling, ice skating, and pizza nights, as a way for families to get to know one another and celebrate their kids’ efforts. For those who register to compete, the club participates in three tournaments and two dual meets, though some students compete in as many as 15 tournaments. Most kids can get by with shorts and a t-shirt for practice, but competitions require head gear and wrestling shoes. The club does rent some uniforms, if needed.

The Fort Atkinson Wrestling Club is open to both boys and girls. Founded in 2002, the club’s mission is to “provide an opportunity for young people to learn the sport of wrestling through practice and competition.” Coaches are focused on developing students at all skill levels. The club is made up of volunteer board members and coaches, including President Dr. Jeff Kind, Vice President Andy Heine, Treasurer Abe Graziano, Youth Director Danielle Heine, Youth Head Coach Curt Polzin, Middle School Head Coach Shane Worden, and High School Coach Ryan Gerber.
