About Us
The Jefferson County Literacy Council, Inc. (JCLC), the only non-profit adult and family literacy organization in the county, is committed to providing instruction to adults with literacy needs, information to families about enhancing their chilren's literacy, and advocacy for improved literacy in our communities. JCLC provides 1-to-1 and small group instruction to adults in reading, writing, speaking, math, GED prep, computer and job skills, and US citizenship prep, as well as family programs.
