    Chamber Spotlight - Rochelle Mitchell

What do you do professionally, and what do you love most about your career?

I am a Vice President & Director of Public Relations for PremierBank where I have worked for 21 years!  I’m very proud of the growth our bank has achieved over that time as we now serve individuals, families and businesses in Jefferson, Rock & Walworth Counties!  I earned  my degree in Communications-Public Relations from UW-Whitewater, and have been fortunate enough to work in that field my entire professional career!

I love connecting with other community members, businesses and organizations, and when I can help others create mutual beneficial relationships!  I also have some pretty cool co-workers!

What is your history with the Fort Chamber?

I worked for the chamber right out of college from 1991 – 1993 as former Executive Director Dianne Hrobsky’s first Administrative Assistant!  We were a team of two and the office was located downtown in the current Rock, Paper, Scissors building. Chamber member Havill-Spoerl Automotive (now Griffin Ford Lincoln) hired me as their Marketing Director and that’s when I began my Chamber Ambassador career. I have been lucky enough to be Ambassador President several times over the years, what a super group of chamber cheerleaders!  I also served as Chamber Board President in 2010 when I had the opportunity to work with some of the best business leaders around.

What is a fun fact that people might not know about you?
Here's several: I’m a proud alum of Fort Atkinson High School, I used to ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles,  I was on the former “Fort Fest” committee for many years, and I have 4 incredible grandchildren!

As the chamber’s very first Administrative Assistant, how do you feel the chamber has grown or developed since then?

Watching and participating in the growth of the Fort Atkinson chamber has been amazing!  I’ve really enjoyed meeting, and seeing more business members become engaged in the chamber’s programs and activities.  It’s also very awesome when I hear compliments on Fort Atkinson from other chambers, and people from outside of the area!
