Fort Atkinson Chamber Welcomes Edge Broadband
Residents who live outside city limits sometimes have difficulty finding reliable internet service. Edge Broadband exists to resolve that issue, providing affordable, reliable, high-speed internet in Whitewater, Elkhorn, Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, Delavan, Eagle, Palmyra, East Troy, and Milton. Locally owned and operated, the company does not require contracts or data caps for service, like many providers. Residents and businesses can enjoy streaming high-definition movies, social media connections, and 24-hour network monitoring to ensure sustained service.
Service set-up is fairly simple. Edge Broadband installs a small radio device on the roof or antenna, which links to one of their area high-capacity towers. Internet speeds are significantly higher than a dial-up connection and many DSL or wireless services.
“We are an alternative to other wireless providers such as cell or satellite in rural areas where internet is not readily available,” states owner Brian Madl.
The company is located in Whitewater, and services much of Walworth and Jefferson County. To learn more or request a quote, residents and businesses should contact Brian at 262-458-4220, or visit www.edgebroadband.com.
