JC Comprehensive Plan Open House
Jefferson County Upcoming Virtual and Public Open Houses, Community Input Needed – Comprehensive Plan and Agricultural Preservation and Land Use Plan Updates
Jefferson County is continuing to develop its 10-year update of the County Comprehensive Plan and Agricultural Preservation and Land Use Plan. These plans set a vision, goals and policies, and the framework that can be used to inform decisions about what county leaders should support, encourage and enhance.
The planning process is built from community input. Public open houses will be held in July to gain input from residents about the desired future of Jefferson County. These virtual and in-person engagement opportunities provide options for the public to provide input into the process.

These engagement opportunities build upon feedback we have received thus far in the process from the steering committee, municipal leaders, focus groups, stakeholders, and public input. Key themes have been developed for each chapter element. Participants are invited to provide feedback through various engagement activities that will guide the plan’s direction specific to each topic area.
We look forward to seeing you at one of the upcoming meetings. Thank you for your participation!
