    May 13, 2019
The Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes Lucas Molloy, Project Manager of Race Day Events, as a new member.  Founded in 2006 and based in Fitchburg, Race Day Events produces, manages and assists with over 300 events ranging from small 5Ks to large, multi-day bike rides, to Ironman, and will be organizing the Griffin Ford Fort 14 in Fort Atkinson in 2019. The business purchased Lighthouse Events, which managed last year’s race, and has worked previously with the Fort Atkinson Chamber providing timing services when the race was known as the Fort Half Marathon. They are also managing races in the nearby communities of Lakes Mills, Watertown, and Delafield.
“Our goal is to put the participant first by creating accurate and well-supported courses that are safe and fun,” Molloy explained. Registration is now open for both the 14 mile run and family fun 5k, at https://runsignup.com/Race/WI/FortAtkinson/FORT14. Businesses that are interested in helping volunteer or sponsor the event are invited to contact Molloy directly, at (608) 316-5755, or Lucas@racedayeventsllc.com. Additional information about Race Day Events can be found on their website, www.racedayevents.com.
