Roadwork to start on U.S. Highway 12 from Madison Ave. to County Highway M
The Department of Transportation will begin work on a road construction project on U.S. Highway 12 through the City of Fort Atkinson from Madison Ave. to County Highway M. The work is scheduled to start May 1, weather permitting. The road will remain open during construction with flagging operations in place.
The project will include the milling and overlay of U.S. Highway 12 along with the upgrade of 92 sidewalk ramps, curb and gutter replacement at the ramps and removal and replacement of sidewalk at the ramps.
The project is scheduled for completion by November.
