I Love Where I Live! It is a healthy, caring, and educated community with a diverse business base. It has an excellent team of educators, a fantastic network of medical and dental providers, a progressive city government, and an excellent Chamber of Commerce to help promote and unify all of these attributes. It is a town of people who work together to say we more than I. My business partner and the Chamber sold my wife and I on Fort Atkinson nearly 30 years ago. We looked at several communities but none seemed to have people who really wanted their hometown to be all that it could be. The people we talked to, when we were deciding where to practice and live, spoke highly of each other, the schools, and the businesses in town. We have found that Fort Atkinson is a town where the people and businesses support and celebrate one another. There are many service organizations, clubs and religious communities for people to become involved with and help make Fort Atkinson and the world a better place.
We’re so glad we chose Fort Atkinson as the place to live and practice in!

While I had never imagined moving so close to my hometown, no place has ever felt more like "home" than Fort Atkinson. I'm now approaching my fifth year as a small business owner, and owning a restaurant here can be equated to extending your family. The sense of community, support, and joy is overwhelming. Not all days of business ownership are blissful, but I’m blessed to have customers and staff who are supportive every step of the way. Fort Atkinson is progressive and has grown, but small town charm remains. I feel incredibly lucky to have a business in a warm, charitable, and welcoming city that embodies the very meaning of the word community.

I am proud to call Fort Atkinson my hometown. It is where I hold my childhood memories and continue to create new childhood memories with my daughters. I love where I live because of the overwhelming support as a whole; and what makes this community unique and highly coveted, is its heart.
Fort Atkinson also has a strong Chamber of Commerce that continually strives to enhance and support small businesses. Paired with loyal residents who shop local, only strengthens this small town economy and makes it the best city to start a small business and family!Nova Jiongco

I grew up in Fort Atkinson and when I decided to move back after living in Chicago for years, some peopled asked “how are you going to handle living in a small town again?” My response was simple – Fort Atkinson is a place that allows you to choose small, but live big. It is a place where people show up; for people in need, for celebrations, for opportunities to improve their city while maintaining its already great character. As a young professional, Fort provides me aspects of everything I had hoped to build a life around – quality mentors, motivating peers, beautiful parks & outdoor spaces, an abundance of recreation activities & community events, locally owned restaurants & businesses, and an ability to make a difference in a place I love. And I love Fort Atkinson.

We belong to the Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce because they are the heart of our community. Our membership keeps us abreast of business news in our town and surrounding areas; great networking opportunities are offered, and our company information is always presented to people in need of our services. Our Chamber delves into researching ways to help our community grow and flourish. We have been members for over 13 years and will continue to do so!
